Founded in 2019 in Sherbrooke by Nicolas Zemmour, ZemmourBallet quickly established itself as a major player on the Quebec and international arts scene. As a private charitable foundation recognized in Canada, our mission is to create, present, and support innovative choreographic works while making dance accessible to all.

Our work and creations are guided by three core values:

Based at the Centre des arts de la scène Jean-Besré, our foundation is recognized as a cultural organization by the City of Sherbrooke. We support artists by providing a structured environment in which they can thrive and create, while strengthening the connection between dance and the community.
